Program Details
DAY 1: Journey to the Sahara
- Depart from Tunis and visit the magnificent El Jem amphitheater.
- Continue the adventure to Douz, famously known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Enjoy a lunch in Douz.
- Embark on an exciting 4×4 excursion to Tembaine via Jbil.
- Arrive at Camp Abdelmoula, a desert camp in the heart of the Sahara.
- Indulge in a delightful dinner under the starry desert sky, followed by an evening around a campfire. Spend the night in comfortable camp tents.
DAY 2: Saharan Exploration and Adventure
- Start the day with a hearty breakfast, then set off on a 4×4 journey to explore the Tembaine region, visiting wells and the Tembaine mountain ranges.
- Enjoy a thrilling adventure as you explore the mesmerizing dunes of Tembaine.
- Return to the camp for a delicious lunch and some free time. There’s also the option for an extra adventure with a Quad ride in the dunes (extra fee).
- Conclude the day with a sumptuous dinner around the campfire, followed by another night in the cozy camp tents.
DAY 3: From the Desert to Matmata and Beyond
- Begin the day with a tasty breakfast, then set off towards Douz.
- Arrive in Douz, where you can take an extra camelback ride (extra fee). Enjoy lunch.
- Continue the journey to Matmata, a city nestled amid stunning hills and valleys, known for its troglodyte houses.
- Depart for Tunis, marking the end of this memorable adventure
